Mar 30, 201278A challenging helicopter simulator not as hardcore as another flight simulators but still fun to play. Brings a different Career approach focused on drama.

Oct 31, 201180Take on Helicopters will entertain all of you thinking that DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark simulator is too complicated or that Apache Air Assault is too arcade-oriented and militarily specialized. Take on Helicopters stands in the middle bringing half-done campaign and not so many machines, but on the other hand we can't leave out its future evolvement that now lies in the hands of the skilled community.

Feb 9, 201270Take on Helicopters doesn't revolutionize the simulator genre but most definitely will go down in gaming history as an interesting experiment. Have the developers focused more on the "simulator" part, the game could gain more recognition among hardcore fans.

Nov 26, 201177Exhilarating flying over fine scenery, but the story needed to be stronger and longer. Buy ToH for the thrills. Not the dialogue.

Nov 18, 201165This game will satisfy those eager for aerial simulation, but will result in a little approachable game for the rest of players, if not just plain boring. It is a good simulator, very demanding and with plenty of content to enjoy for hours. However, its poor narrative and lackluster optimization let mixed sensations.

Nov 10, 201175Take On Helicopters is packed with lots of modes and missions that will entertain all the helicopter sims fans out there. You need to spend some hours learning how it works, so don't expect an arcade experience at all, even at the lowest difficulty level.

Jan 20, 201280The very first flight simulator capable of attracting gamers who always ignored this genre. Two large maps and plenty of missions with detailed models of helicopters make you a fan of flying. [Dec 2011]

Jan 19, 201265Take on Helicopters is an attempt to prove that civil aviation does not have to be boring. The problem of this game is that it sits on a fence between mass accessibility and hardcore simulation. It's competent in both cases but I'm not sure it can win over either group of players. [February 2012, p.56]

Jan 9, 201250Neither hardcore sim nor arcade fun, Take On Helicopters can't even get in the air. [Jan 2012, p.46]
