  1. The lack of any real challenge makes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hard to recommend for all but the very young set. [Mar 2004, p.75]
  2. The presentation is great and looks a lot like the show, but the repetitive gameplay leaves a lot to be desired.
  3. TMNT doesn't wear its nostalgic aspects particularly well, and the remaining components simply don't make for a very entertaining experience.
  4. There are some extra moves you can learn, but Tekken is better for fighting.
  5. 53
A game I want to love, but hate to play...a typical boring and repetitive brawler.
  6. The action is a little too samey, and things become just too repetitive. Aside from scenery variations, FMV cut-scenes and the odd boss fight, the game is practically the same from start to finish. [Jan 2004, p.125]
  7. The best game ever for gamers without the energy to move their thumbs from the A button to the B button on their gamepads. [May 2004, p.89]
