70While this is a good-looking and wonderful-sounding product, it still falls upon the plot to deliver something unique to the experience.
-
60The 3D engine is quite good, the interface is top-notch, and the gameplay itself stays within the standard mold of the genre; it just doesn't try to reach for anything beyond the mold. Or, if it did, it got mired along the way in a swamp of mediocrity from which there was no escape.
-
It's a tough nut to crack so only gamers looking for a tough challenge with time to spare need apply.
-
Decent graphics, an efficient interface, and a massive technology tree with a wide array of units. On the other, its slow speed, awkward unit movement, and abysmal A.I. add up to a less than stellar experience.
-
48Not even worthy of the bargain bin, Thandor: The Invasion is better left on the shelf.
-
47A totally uninspired presentation.
