Jun 10, 201382A dialogue system and a fully functional inventory would not only vastly enhance the game, we could be talking about the birth of a new sub-genre. Even so, we enjoyed it. From now on, when someone asks, what the heck of a game is The Cave, we will answer “a really great game”… after all, that’s what really matters. [March 2013]

Feb 1, 201374The Cave is a reasonably entertaining product, giving you a sufficient amount of content for its price tag. While all the adventure and platform elements were fused well together, you'll always somehow find yourself expecting more. It almost seems like the devs were playing it safe, never going that extra mile, never pushing the limit in any way.

Feb 4, 201370A small game, but a tricky and clever one that's been made by a video game industry legend who thinks he's still able to surprise you. He is, even though he makes mistakes sometimes.

Jan 31, 201340There is some dark-ish humour but it never goes far enough and borders on embarrassingly bad in most places. Those attuned to adventure titles will feel their puzzle sensibilities tickled but definitely not itched.

Nice puzzles, loving animations, cute characters with cool voices and a great humor in a big and mysterious cave.
