  1. So go out and give The Chosen a try – if you can wipe the grime away, getting beyond the terrible voice acting and mediocre story, you'll find an extremely affordable, enjoyable, and worthy addition to the annals of action role play gaming.
  2. With brazenly low system requirements, The Chosen: Well of Souls will fit snugly into the palm of your hand at 600 MB, lend you a healthy allotment of diversionary hours at less than the cost for an expansion pack, and bequeath a straight-forward, no-nonsense roleplaying experience.
  3. The Chosen: Well of Souls has simply been done better many times before.
  4. The Chosen is single-player only, which is probably for the best--you'd be hard-pressed to find many other people playing it. [Mar 2008, p.74]

I loved Diablo, Space hack was a hoot, and this game is scratching that itch quite well for me!

Twice encountered an un-damageable monster in normal play - not a feature, but a bug. Not ready for prime time, needed more testing before release.
