Good challenging singleplayer and very fun multiplayer, good story as well.

After playing the demo, I feel it's more of a fast paced bonus game that a more mature 3rd person shooter would have. The gameplay feels like the arcades, which is good in some aspects. However, it lacks any type of goal/storyline, which makes it repetitive quickly. It's a good game to pick up once and awhile, but not play for hours straight. In my honest opinion, it's not worth a full $50. If it was only $15, I'd be more interested. Expand

Good concept, however the support behind it lacks, with the numerous issues this game has.

I had fun playing this game. Fresh look, nice playable characters, insanely fun maps. I could repeat one map few times in a row just to make my score higher. For what? For satisfaction I managed to do it 1 second faster! It has some of that old, arcade games magic.

Graphics are typical. Gameplay is fresh yet repetitive. Multiplayer blows chunks. Fun for one time around then on to the next.

  1. Underneath the mundane masculinity and grimy gun-toting clichés lies a heavily structured and well-considered score-attack game – one that's worth excavating for all the short-lived interest it holds. [Feb 2008, p.88]
  2. Bizarre Creations delivers a different kind of shooter that will attract a specific kind of gamer. The boring setting and combo-system don't bring this game to the absolute top, but the addicting gameplay makes up a lot. If they put more effort in a possible sequel, it might become a classic in this new subgenre.
  3. The equivalent of a lusty, full throttled fling - it's good fun for a little while, but it's hardly a solid base for a lengthy love affair. [Mar 2008, p.98]
