  1. The way Tribunal is integrated into the main Morrowind game is smooth and fascinating.
  2. The game does open up new areas of the island, and does challenge players. It is graphically strong, and a welcomed addition to the Morrowind realm.

Morrowind may have had enough content to make an expansion pretty redundant, but the tighter focus of the expansion helps create an intensity that wasn't as well sustained in the base game.
  4. Lovers of Morrowind will love Tribunal, and simply should not go without it. The improved journal alone is worth the price of admission.
  5. A reasonable expansion to a great game. Hardcore Morrowind fans will love the new content, but the stale old content should have been refreshed.
  6. Many of the things that made me love Morrowind so much are simply missing in Tribunal. For your dollar value, this expansion just doesn't add enough to what is already a massive, excellent game.
  7. It's as seamless and clever as it could be in a title like this.
  8. It's ideal for those with high-level Morrowind characters.

The add-in combines a new and intriguing story with plenty of varied gameplay to steal forty or fifty more hours of your life.
  10. It's somewhat strange that Tribunal, the first official expansion, is so confining. [Mar 2003, p.96]
  11. Pick it up if you're looking for another 20 plus hours of reality dissolving entertainment. [Feb 2003, p.68]

Probably the best game expansion released in 2002. It offers more gameplay than many full-priced games.

Best suited for high-level characters that like to use every power at their disposal -- and that's where the expansion shines.
  14. When combined with the original game, Tribunal's features make an excellent role-playing game even better.
  15. Generally speaking Tribunal is a great expansion pack. It fixes bugs, adds new places to explore, enhances the capabilities of the game, and is very well written and designed.
  16. If you go into it expecting a short but focused and enjoyable adventure, there is a good possibility you'll enjoy your visit to Mournhold.

Hmmmm, let's consider the evidence. No levitation. A very weak and artificial storyline. A main setting mainly full of .......space. Some good quests, some bad ones (the highly nihilistic Gaenor quest was my favourite) but really, this expansion offers nothing new to Morrowind except for a kind of proving ground for high level characters. Bland but just about worth installing. Full Review »
