Heading towards its finale, this unique game has all the potential of becoming one of the modern games which will be mentioned in the years to come, as the classic and most important representatives of the point 'n' click genre. If nothing goes terribly wrong with the third and final part, it certainly will achieve that.

Chapter Two was worth the two year wait. It’s comfortingly traditional if you pine for the old days, but not laden down with overly elaborate multi-layered puzzles that’ll keep you bashing your head against the wall for hours.

Better than Episode 1 and definitely worth playing.

If you’ve played the first chapter of The Journey Down, you’ll know pretty much what to expect. But when everything worked as well as it did originally, that continues to be a good thing.

The second trip into this relaxed world is still fun, but the locations in the first chapter are more interesting while the puzzles still tend to be too easy.

It took a while, but The Journey Down: Chapter Two is exactly what we were hoping for. Playtime is a tad longer, the graphics are more lively and it has even more Grim Fandango references than Chapter One. The puzzles do get a bit too predictable towards the end.

Nevertheless despite these issues I still found myself enjoying The Journey Down: Chapter Two a lot as it is just a fun, charming adventure that gets the LucasArts spirit pretty darn right.

Nothing stands out as amazing everything is just....solid. The logic of the puzzles make sense which is always a concern for these games. It's not difficult but I like that about it, really keeps the game flowing. You certainly have to pause to think and explore the world to figure what to do but I never got to the point of contemplating looking at a walkthrough. The humor is decent but I don't think I laughed out loud. I would really only recommend this game for point n click enthusiasts which I realize I may be slowly becoming. Expand

The main problem here is a terrible interface designed for tablets, makes playing with a mouse really tiring. Only one click for everything, drag from inventory instead if clicking and select, inventory can be opened only dragging the mouse down and there are no keyboard shortcuts at all etc.
Really annoying. Stop designing game interfaces for tablets when you release them on pc.
