Good to see a point 'n' click adventure again, and particularly one of this quality. Despite the annoying path-finding faults and the need to speak to everyone umpteen times to get to the bit of information you need, the plot kept me coming back for more. Gorgeous cut scenes help things along, and I really hope House of Tales take all the constructive criticism on board. One thing that nobody mentioned - sometimes the dialogue sounds like a bad translation. Odd that the (apparently) American actors didn't notice that what they were saying wasn't 'normal' English and suggest changing it... Collapse

At times completely consuming and gripping, at occasions unintentionally abstract and annoying.
  2. While it doesn’t exactly re-invent the adventure genre, The Moment of Silence is undeniably a well executed and solid title. So, if forced perspective backdrops, plausible puzzles and pulp fiction-like character and plot development are your bag, you could certainly do a lot worse than pick this one up.
  3. TMOS has an impressively complex storyline, backed up by superbly detailed background graphics.
