Although Tomb Raider can prove a challenge to get running well on modern systems it was fantastic to be able to go back and replay this classic adventure game… I actually played through half of the game using Glidos which allowed fantastic texture upgrades, I would have whole heartedly recommended getting it but unfortunately the 10 seconds it takes to open the inventory screen is way too annoying! That aside the game may look dated but it provides solid game-play, un-linear level design and just an all-round great deal of fun! I’m not sure whether it’s my nostalgia for the series or more the fact that it can be challenging, enjoyable and has an interesting story… But, I just whole heartedly love this game! Expand

Today this game looks really dated, but it was the game that pulled me in the gameworld, I really was in love with it, the wonderful loneliness, the exploration, the silence, and suddenly the moving music. I've grown over this love but it still has a warm place in my heart. Thank you, Lara. Expand

La importancia de Tomb Raider fue muy grande en la historia del videojuego, más allá de su impacto a nivel de marketing también fue un juego muy entretenido de plataformas y disparo en 3D que gestionaba muy bien el espacio y las cámaras, normalmente. Expand

Where do I even start with this game? First off, let me say that this game NEARLY killed my love for pc games and most of all, almost made me give up on video games as a whole. This "classic" has to be one of the most boring and ridiculously terrible controls of any action adventure game. Maybe try your luck on the playstation version, maybe its better, but let me tell you, the controls are so terrible that even some of the simplest moves are going to be an annoyance. Just jumping from platform to platform, it has to be PERFECT because anything SLIGHTLY done wrong will lead you to death or you'll have to redo everything you did. The graphic did not age nicely, you'll have a hard time trying to explore just trying to figure out what you can climb or where you can go to. The voice acting is barely even understandable and even if it was, the story of this so called adventure seems to be severely lacking, almost making each level progression unfulfilling. The ONLY redeeming quality about this game is that you can save the game at any moment, which makes it easy to take advantage of and necessary. Do yourself a gigantic favor, play the Tomb Raider Anniversary game instead of this one, it’s one of those rare moments when the remake is actually better than the original. Trust me. The new team that works on the Tomb Raider games is a blessing to this series. Expand
