93My weapon of choice is the PS2, mostly because of the Dual Shock 2, which I think is the perfect controller for THPS3...While the network play [of the PC version] is damn fun, I'm not sure if it's robust enough to warrant the $50.00-or-so expenditure.
-
93The graphics on the PC version are by far the best.
-
Gearbox have done an excellent job with the PC conversion and any PC gamer will love this game. Just don't forget your gamepad.
-
91This game is near flawless.
-
A good game, but better on the consoles.
-
90It almost perfectly captures the gameplay of the PS2 version...If you don't have a gamepad, get one for it.
-
90Its best incarnation is on the PC, especially with the improved graphics and network playability.
-
90It's superb. [June 2002, p.90]
-
90The PC can support insanely high resolutions that put even the Xbox to shame. The frame rate is better on the PC, as well.
-
As good as, if not better, than the original Playstation 2 best-seller. [July 2002, p.79]
-
90This is also a rare case where a console-to-PC port actually turned out for the better.
-
88The incredible playability, loads of details and hidden features on each level, twenty good songs, a lot of movies about each rider in the game and the level editor really make this CD worth having.
-
85The keyboard commands get a bit confusing because the games pace is very fast at times.
-
An improvement over its predecessor and is maybe even more fun.
-
81The PC version has a few advantages to set it apart from its brethren, but not so much as to make the other 5 versions pointless.
