  • Summary: In Total Immersion Racing, other drivers will remember your actions on track. Always listen to your Team Manager. Be careful that you don't block a rival on track, or destroy the chances of a driver i na lower class, as he will remember your actions going into the next race and beyond. Remember that rivalries never die, and later on in your career you may regret the time you upset another driver - as they may decide to get revenge by ruining your championship run. 1. The game has a variety of gorgeous real life cars, race-long bumper-to-bumper action, and emotionally charged AI drivers--too many positive attributes to be ignored.

I think Razorworks should go back to the drawing board and address their problems in execution, because their concepts are intriguing and the presentation of the package is great.
  3. Boasts a good selection of showroom-shiny cars and famous tracks, but it lacks options, features controls that border on the unresponsive, and is missing a personality. [May 2003, p.81]

  1. It gets a high rating due to lack of PC Racing games. But to be fair, it has nothing on Gran Turismo on Forza. And it will fall in a mediocre bellow average for me. However, if we take in account that its a 2002 game it will make you feel much more sympathetic towards the game. With physics and car adjustment to reality aside, its a pretty fun game, although it gets pretty repetitive. I cant really complain though since i got my copy with a cereal box. Expand

Graphically TIR is top notch. Tracks and cars beautifully rendered. Sound is good. Handling sucks! I found the steering to be impresice and unpredictable, resulting in a very frustrating and unsatisfying experience. If you like this style racing find a copy of Sports Car GT or pickup ToCA Race Driver 2 instead. Expand
