Traitors Gate 2 Image
  • Summary: The world has seen all kinds of weapons of mass destruction: nuclear, chemical and biological. Now the threat is digital. A virus, simple in concept yet catastrophic in effect, has been developed. Its target is the communication systems of the world. It will shut down all digital entertainment, economic trade and cripple the military, causing breaches in all security systems and global mass chaos. There is only enough time to send one operative. His codename: Raven. His mission: to find the virus, copy it and then destroy the research lab where it is located. [DreamCatcher Interactive] Expand

  1. Controls make players suffer, with no customization to speak of. It's too hard to rotate your character, and the lack of a strafe is very unfortunate.
  2. Look at this game as a collection of linear puzzles as opposed to the poorly constructed and under-evolved adventure-type creature it is, and you may be able to glean a little entertainment in the wake of titles like In Memoriam. If you love the genre. Maybe.
  3. Couple that with major bugs, sloppy typos, and a painfully slow pace, and you get a mess of a game that feels more like punishment than fun.

Perhaps the worst adventure title of 2003. A dull adventure game wrapped up badly in the ugly clothing of an obsolete FPS.

I had high hopes for this game...however, I'm stuck at the water elevator and can't progress. Why do companies release a game when one cannot finish it? I have again wasted good money on a bad game. Expand
