An impressive product that's only a patch or two away from true strategy game greatness.
  2. There’s a lot to like here: a wide variety of buildings and themes to mess around with, casino design, landscaping, and just plain wandering around looking at the pretty lights.
  3. Not for those who crave instant gratification or casual gameplay; rather, it is geared towards those that can sit for hours and immerse themselves in the world of the game.
  4. The makers of the well-received "Monopoly Tycoon" have created an entertaining sim - Vegas Tycoon gets the look and feel of Sin City just right. [Apr 2004, p.92]

I work in a casino in real life, and this game has all the basics of the industry. I wish the financials were a little more indepth, perhaps elevate the marketing portion, but all in all this is a good game. The game really made me laugh when one of my customers threw his garbage on the floor; he was 3 feet away from the garbage can. I've seen the exact same thing happen at work. They really got this game right. Expand

I picked this up last week at Wal-Mart & I'm totally addicted! A steal at $20. By far one of the best tycoon games I have played - ranks right up there with Sim City in my book. I'd put it ahead of Roller Coaster & Zoo anyday. Expand
