I work in a casino in real life, and this game has all the basics of the industry. I wish the financials were a little more indepth, perhaps elevate the marketing portion, but all in all this is a good game. The game really made me laugh when one of my customers threw his garbage on the floor; he was 3 feet away from the garbage can. I've seen the exact same thing happen at work. They really got this game right. Expand

I picked this up last week at Wal-Mart & I'm totally addicted! A steal at $20. By far one of the best tycoon games I have played - ranks right up there with Sim City in my book. I'd put it ahead of Roller Coaster & Zoo anyday.

  1. More of an interior-design sim than the Vegas epic you're probably imagining. [Mar 2004, p.61]

An impressive product that's only a patch or two away from true strategy game greatness.
  3. It has a lot of things going for it, including beautiful graphics, oodles of detail, and lots of depth. Sadly, it's a game that doesn't quite hit the million-dollar jackpot due to some cumbersome gameplay, an unusually and often frustratingly high level of difficulty, and interface issues.
