  1. Fun, engaging, and has a high replay value. It has been a while since I played a mech game that had me saying "just one more level!" until well past midnight.
  2. It's instantly reminiscent of Tribes, and in my book, that is a very, very admirable game to be comparable to. It's fast paced, well-balanced, and looks amazing with an impressive array of mech design that manages to not just clone anime cybernetics. Perhaps best of all, Lighthouse has chosen to release this with no CD-in-drive restrictions.

A top effort from Third Wave, War World is a good choice for anyone interested in a budget title with a big bang.

Darn near a perfect game. If it had more than just deathmatch modes, it would score a perfect 10. This is easily the best INDY game ever released. The low price, no hassles download, and incredible gameplay means this one shouldn't be missed! Expand
