  1. I'm sorry I didn't review Warlords Battlecry earlier because I think it would have found its way onto our Game of the Year ballot under one heading or another.
  2. Its depth, variety, creativity, and overall quality will give lots of enjoyment to the strategy player. The complexity and some control nuances make this game somewhat difficult to master, but persistence will be rewarded with a great gaming experience.
  3. But if you have battled your way through "Warcraft II" and still lust for more real time swords and sorcery, then Warlords Battlecry will provide you with hours of quality entertainment.

It was pretty novel at the time, but in retrospect the magic system of this game was pretty clunky. Not nearly as good as other similar RTS's with abilities. Expand
