A great little gem with good replay value at a ridiculously cheap price.

Plenty of gamers are certain to find a lot of enjoyment in the game, but fans of more compelling shoot 'em ups will only be able to squeeze a minimal amount of worthwhile gameplay out of it.

The game is really little more than a glorified browser game for which you have to shell out $6.

Who's That Flying?! zests up an arcade formula so familiar we practically have it etched across the insides of our eyelids, and it doesn't make you pay through the nose for the privilege.

Pretty much what you'd expect if PopCap made a shooter. Who's That Flying?! is a quirky, amusing, and hugely replayable shmup at a wonderfully low asking price.

Who's That Flying?! is enjoyable, funny, and cute. The story mode kind of fell flat for me as each city's three levels felt similar and dragged a bit, but that's just a portion of the game.

Lots of polish and some truly laugh-out-loud moments. [Issue#107, p.113]

There are really only two bad things to say about it. 1) It's rather short. 2) The keyboard control scheme is unnecessarily strange and cannot be changed. While it's not a painfully awkward configuration, it is at least awkward enough to make you wonder what their reasoning must have been and make you wish you could change it. The control situation is slightly alleviated by the fact that you can use a 360 controller, if you have that particular setup. But if you don't have a 360 controller setup, you're pretty much SOL in that department. Still, despite these two demerits, it's a great little action game. Full Review »
