  • Summary: Playing the role of Zoo Director you will be able to build the Zoo of your dreams. With more than 80 different plant and animal species to take care of, it is your job to make sure they are fed, trained, healthy and happy. Just like in a real Zoo, you will also be responsible for managing landscape architects, gardeners, zoo keepers, veterinarians and scientists. Make this Zoo your own by modifying and customizing the landscape and by breeding exotic animals and plants in special research labs. If you manage your Zoo carefully, you will soon celebrate the birth of new animals. [DreamCatcher Interactive] Expand

  1. Overall, there isn’t anything to get excited about here. If you’ve played one zoo tycoon game, then you’ve played them all, and there isn’t any reason to buy Wildlife Zoo unless you really like the genre or unless you haven’t played anything in the genre yet.
  2. With the little features here and there, along with the above average graphics for this genre, I'd easily recommend it to anyone that likes a theme-sim game. Also, a great way to spend time with family (especially youngsters!!) and learn more about animals.
  3. If you consider yourself a sim aficionado and caring for different types of animals makes you all warm and fuzzy inside, this is something you might want to try your hand at. Unfortunately, some people may find the slow pace a little too slow and at times downright boring.
  4. By being too focused on producing a realistic zoo simulation game, Wildlife Zoo really isn’t much fun. It has its moments, but between the shoddy visitor intelligence, the slow pace of the game, and the abundance of things that don’t add anything to the game, it makes for a fairly slow experience that isn’t very rewarding in the end.

While Wildlife Zoo doesn't really do anything new, it's a decent game. Its graphical blandness is stretched over some enjoyable gameplay, though hampered by an inconvenient interface.
