JimENov 4, 20098PC version is slow responding on PS game controller. Fair to moderate with mouse keyboard. Still all said and done, still a pretty good game.

Jan 3, 201110The game was perfect in almost every way! I loved multi-player and the single player was amazing! Graphics are great and the game is fun with all you can do in the free world. I suggest this game!

KaarlSAug 23, 20099I enjoyed this game a lot for my PC. The guns were all great and rewarded the player with satisfying kills. The sounds are done perfectly and create an intense environment in a heated battle. If you enjoy FPS games then you must give this game a play through, it's not revolutionary but it's still a very solid and entertaining shooter.

JaeQAug 18, 20099The SP is phenomenal and I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. Then I played MP and saw what the deal was. At first sight, mp seemed horrible. But seriously learn the game (it's a lot diff than mp), play in the real modes (not tdm) and you'll have a blast especially since this is a very supportive company.

AbdullahS.Aug 24, 20099I dont normally like WW II shooters but believe me when i say that this game is a blast. As Jae Q said the SP is phenomnal. On the low side, the graphics are bit outdated but still nice. I found MP a bit lacking... But if you want a good SP experience dun miss this one.

SebastianE.Aug 25, 20099Wolfenstein is not a genre revolution but something I've been looking for since I finished Prey: a very good and atmospheric shooter, put together by a bunch of people how know how to do it. It runs even on low end systems but is looking good on high end systems. The multiplayer mode could have been a lot better but still Wolfenstein will give you a run for it's money.

DNOct 18, 20091Seeing the fact that the only thing thats Wolfenstein about this game, is the name. Singleplayer part was barely playable, and the Multiplayer part was, and is, an insult to anyone who ever liked the previous games. A sure waste of your money.

funkymarlonNov 1, 20096Shooting Nazis is great! But from the POV of a bubble head it's really freaking annoying. Very much a lack-luster in graphics and sound.

TomDNov 6, 20090Just awful, took so long to get it to work on my PC. And the game itself was just another bland FPS shooter, with nothing of the id charm it's predecessors had.
-
-
rivrsNov 28, 20090The game was unfinished, no support, no mp fixes, no communication... its dead on arrival. idsoftware has fallen to their lowest with no attempt made to fix this sorry excuse. Activision has just gotten to big and really the worst publisher at this point.

Apr 23, 20115The graphics are better than the last, but the game play lacks something, yet I can't describe it, but it's just not as good as the original RTCW.... I believe game designers simply do not put enough time and quality into games anymore, so what tends to happen is that the graphics/features are 'taking-over' the overall 'fun-ness' of games.

Oct 23, 20119This game is almost perfect. I don't know why did people rated so low this master piece. It has magic, action and nice graphics. It's nice, buddies.

AnonymousMCAug 19, 20098The game feels as if its developers wanted to cram in it as many ideas and cliches as possible. It works to a certain extent but leaves the impression it could have been something much better - either a full blown RPG with total freedom or a linear shooter which focuses on the story. As it is - it is a mixture of the two ...

AlexTheDudeOct 2, 20097I have to say that I have learned to respect this website, pooling of all the reviews does give you a pretty accurate picture of what to expect before buying a game

PhilipCAug 19, 20098Wolfenstein might not be a life changing experince or an artistic masterpiece but it is a hell of a lot of fun. If you are a fan of shooters there is no reason not to get this (unless you are tired of WWII).

GeorgeGAug 24, 20097An ok game to the franchise. Like the comments before me, i have to agree, its playable with mediocre graphics, average storyline and a multiplayer that really doesn't offer anything revolutionary, just typical deathmatches and the such. Get it to kill some time before summer's over.

Sep 5, 20118I'm going to be honest here. Wolfenstein isn't perfect, but for fans of the original games and gamers who want a break from the standard shooters, Wolfenstein is the game to buy. The multiplayer is alright, but singleplayer is where the action is.

Feb 19, 20128Targeting and movement is smooth which I liked the most about this game. The story doesn't make sense. But overall a solid FPS. Ideal for casual gamers.
-
Feb 19, 20126This game is pure old school gaming with new graphics, it does it well and it works, it is set in WWII to expect to be killing tons of Nazi's, nice old WWII weapons with some Sci-fi built in which also works well, this game may not be worth $19.99 but if you can get it for 10 or less go for it.

Dec 13, 20121This game is a big big big FAILURE---A major DISAPPOINTMENT...in other words---it a piece of TRASH !!!
The AI SUX BALLS, the enemy just keep respawning ---endless respawning !!!, the gameplay is **** and the camera just keep shaking so intensely---this is a piece of **** that you will regret buying it---or you just like puking at your screen playing with this **** !!! -
-
May 11, 20138The game is good, but there's no one mission in a castle Wolfenstein.Graphic are okey, but singleplayer should have a more main missions. But it's good that you can upgrade your weapons and the thule medallion powers.
-
67In the end this is a by the numbers shooter with slick graphics, and ample opportunity to shoot supercharged Nazis. It's not going to win any awards but it's worth checking out if you’re looking for a weekend to pass the time shooting everyone's favorite bad guys.
-
Dated look and tired “twists” of the barely noticeable story fail to impress. Wolfenstein is a true mediocrity in all regards – it has neither shameful slip-ups nor flashes of inspiration.
-
Throw away your fears – this game is not “oldie and weirdie” as some can assume. It’s a smart fast shooter with a couple of great features. Pity some elements don’t work as intended. [Sept 2009]
