Fiendishly addictive to newcomers and realistic enough for advanced players, World Class Poker with T.J Cloutier is an essential purchase for anyone wanting to take their game further.
Not only does it help train you to play like a pro, but it offers enough features to make it a worthwhile investment for the serious poker player.
The A.I. is better than average and will get tougher when you start getting to some of the hot games. A good selection of menus and helpful suggestions. The game teaches you as much as you are willing to learn.
The clips provide great primers for how you should approach many of your starting hands, and for that reason alone, World Class Poker can be a valuable learning tool. [Dec 2005, p.96]
For those of you looking for a PC title to hone your poker playing skills then this may not be a bad title for you. If you are looking to play with other people, then I suggest getting a few of your friends together and playing around the table with some real cards, nothing beats the real thing.
