Anyone who is into WWII games, or who feels capable of leading troops into combat, should give this game a try...with all the improvements being made the score could easily jump to 87/100.
A great game for the soldier while in reserves or the history buff but for the everyday gamer it may be too technically challenging with two little reward.
One quintessential problem plaguing WWII Online is its incompleteness.
Currently, the game is a labor of love - it takes a lot of patience, but can be rewarding and very enjoyable. If promised features are added soon, this could be a good game.
A dangerous mess of a game that can't be recommended to any but the most hard-core game players in its current state. The real concern is that even if the technical issues are resolved, the design issues will remain.
It's unplayable out of the box and incomplete even when patched. But if it can survive, there're signs that WWII Online could be a winner.
Quite simply, this is a game that just doesn't work.
