  1. With the absence of a multiplayer, WW2 Tank Commander has very little replay value. There’s just not enough interesting gameplay to warrant the budget £20 price tag. Still, if you enjoy tank games or WWII in general, you may find something here.
  2. For 20 bucks or so it’s not too terrible for the money. This will most likely appeal to younger players or those who want to jump in and play without spending time thumbing through an extensive manual.
  3. You get what you pay for, though, and for a $20 title, WWII TC delivers a modicum of modest, albeit fleeting, big-gun thrills. [May 2006, p.54]
  4. An experienced gamer would find this under-stimulating and be able to blow through it in a matter of hours. I've certainly spend more money, in less time, on worse things, but it doesn't take an accounting genius to tell me that I've got to stop wasting my money on games like this.
