It's refreshing to find a new puzzle game that has a fun, light-hearted mentality. There is a lot of challenge here, but none of the punishing attitude that pervades the genre.

A fun, light-hearted puzzle game that offers a lot of bang for its buck. While it's not perfect, and it's incredibly aggravating that you can't save in the middle of a level, you'll get a lot of laughs and some real challenges for the $10 price tag.

Despite a few frustrations, Your Doodles Are Bugged is an accessible, challenging, and rewarding puzzle game.

For me, though, Your Doodles Are Bugged strayed perilously close to feeling like work.

UPDATE: New save feature lets you savemid-level. MUCH less annoying. Good call.
Charming graphics and music. It's a neat idea for a game, but
quickly becomes a tedious and repetitious exercise. Perhaps my wife and I are missing an obvious strategy, but we have to make several trips transporting 30 of the 150 bugs at a time. It feels more like a chore than a puzzle. Expand

Your Doodles are Bugged is another game on the cusp of being worthless. As much as the developer tried, there are no actual puzzles here. There is nothing clever. Nothing exceptional. Nothing useful nor worthwhile. There is nothing happening. This also barely qualifies as a game. It is all about drawing simple lines in order for the bugs to climb up or to the sides, then erasing, then repeating. That's it. There is nothing else to it. The bugs' AI is horrible to nonexistent. They hop around aimlessly, and often take far too long getting on top of the lines you draw. These bugs also tend to get stuck around the levels due to what I surmise to being limited and poor programming. One could have more fun with Microsoft Paint. If this ridiculous attempt at game design were not enough, it also doesn't help that there are absolutely no sounds nor music in the entire game. Upon further investigation, many others experience this same problem. A simple Google search will provide you with much proof in this regard. The asking price proves that some people really have no shame and are willing to pull anything for an income. Even if that means overcharging for a piece of software that should be considered freeware at best. Your Doodles are Bugged is an excellent example of how poor concepts in conjunction with poor design equals nothing more, and nothing less than gaming refuse. Expand

This game could have been a nice Lemmings/Crayon Physics Deluxe mix, something definitely up my alley - drawing your stuff all over the picture to save hundreds of tiny bugs and avoid all the pesky traps. Sadly, puzzles in the story mode are anything but challenging - the solutions are pretty obvious yet tedious to draw and achieve - I felt really exhausted in the end. The point of the game isn't really about finding a creative way to solve the puzzles. All you have to do is keep drawing the blue lines going up or forward. Lots and lots of f*cking lines. Draw some to transport the bouncy bugs from one spot to another, erase them, draw some more, wait till the insects jump to the next spot, draw, wait, erase, draw, wait, erase... yeah, that pretty sums up this game. Sometimes bugs get stuck in some areas and it is a real pain in the ass to get them out. Cute graphics, quite childlike tho'. Music sounds good at first, then it gets bitterly annoying and repetitive - the tracks themselves aren't too bad, it would just be better if every stage had it own separate track. I have to admit a few puzzles had some pretty interesting ideas, like oil paint covering some areas preventing the marker from drawing, using the mirror to draw, water slowly flooding the level... this was all some cool stuff, but each of that appeared like, only once in the whole game.

The game is cute in general, but not too hard unless you are going for Steam achievements, then yeah, I find some of them ridiculously difficult. Perhaps you can create/download some more interesting riddles to make your gaming experience more fun. Perhaps.
