  1. A reminder that sometimes a solid jaunt through a colorful little world is better than plodding through yet another post-apocalyptic wasteland. [Feb 2003, p.73]
  2. Younger players may like the simplistic style of play (those who missed the heyday of classic arcade games on big machines that ate quarters like candy), but older game players should shy away from this title.
  3. Its simple and forgiving dynamic, short span, and quirky characters hit its intended "family fun" mark. [Mar 2003, p.106]
  4. Of course, the real nail in the gameplay coffin arrives with something I’m sure every gamer fears: boredom. Zapper just isn’t interesting to play, and rarely makes attempts to make gamers smile.
