  1. Its biggest flaw is that the dogfights that are nominally its focus are satisfying and will keep you engaged, but escort, bombing, and recon missions are a lot more fun.

    Not bad but not great, it's a generally middle of the road air combat action piece that offers a nice list of options, nice visuals, and powerful sound,... but with the uninspired nature of its flight engine and mediocrity of level design don't do much for it in the long run.
  16. I can feel its charm and want to like it, but at the end of the day AFDS doesn't deliver what it is supposed to: high velocity action with white knuckles wrapped around your controller. What you are left with feels worn out, slowed down and paper thin. A shame really.

    The only redeming quality of this game is the amount of planes that are rendered and flyable.     Sure its got its good moments, but At times the missions seem to jump from easy, to hard, then easy again the number of planes you can fly is Sure its got its good moments, but At times the missions seem to jump from easy, to hard, then easy again the number of planes you can fly is you a bit of an urge to buy the nect plane, check out how it handles and see the new cockpit but it needs a bit more improvment in the difficulty department, even at the end it leaves you a tad bored.     This game is very good. Regardless of the graphics, the gameplay and the storyline is very compelling.
