  • Summary: More than 40 teams are available in Arena Football: Road to Glory and for the first time the user can play as their favorite AFL or af2 team. af2 is the developmental league of the AFL playing primarily in secondary markets. In addition, players can take the af2 circuit by storm by winning the ArenaCup then export their players into the AFL and set their sights on an ArenaBowl championship. The game brings back the excitement and experience of hard-hitting, high-scoring intensity of 50-yard goal line-to-goal line battles. Players can dominate both leagues by scoring at will and wreaking havoc on their toughest rivals with huge hits that send players into-and over-the walls. [Electronic Arts] Expand

  1. The Bottom Line is that even though Road to Glory is an improvement over last years AFL via feature set, the gameplay hasn't received the type of refinement that we would expect.
  2. The fast-paced and intense offense showcases the style of play found in the AFL. Gamers wanting a deep and extensive football experience will be disappointed.
  3. There is no denying that Arena Football: Road To Glory has a bit more to offer than last year’s debut – but not enough really to warrant a second purchase for owners of the first game.

Speaking of being taken seriously, the AFL needs more help in the future from EA. This could eventually become a great series, a mix between Madden and Blitz -- but right now it's just $30 you shouldn't spend.

It's actually a pretty good. I don't understand why Matt L is saying it is a waste of $30! It is definetly better than last year, but it still has some graphic problems. At times the players look lke shapeless blobs, bit it is still a decent game once you get over that part. Expand

Small notch above adverage,, fast game play is a plus but game does get boring after a season. Good game to put away and take out another day, graphics not horrible, but game mapping and design of extra features are horrible.. worth the 30 if you ask me. Expand

Can't believe I just paid $30 for this game I thought I was making a good buy considering i love football games and have never played one I didn't like. Well was I wrong this game is somehow way worse then blitz the league which wasn't anything great. The plays remind of those on Tecmo super bowl and the gameplay looks like it cost next to nothing to design. overall very disappointed and wish i could return the game but ill be trying to sell it at work on Monday.
