Arthur and the Invisibles does a fine job of blending different gameplay styles. It packs plenty of action and puzzles, as well as a high degree of polish throughout.
-
The game is relatively short, but still is a delight for the eyes. The story is familiar but presented very well, and has broad appeal – just like the characters.
-
Giving you a multi-genre gaming experience in one title is innovative, and Atari really shines with the progressive steps they have taken to improve upon the tried and true formula of platform games.
-
The PS2 version is even better than the DS version, as it should be.
-
Play MagazineAs movie games go it's rare that we get anything original, so Arthur and the Invisibles is a welcome commodity even if the movie is getting unjustly hammered by critics. [Feb 2007, p.38]
-
A combat sequence here, an elaborate puzzle there - Arthur earns no originality merit, but damn if it doesn't come together well. Just bare through those first 10 minutes.
-
Pure Magazine UKA really engrossing game that is only let down by the lack of pace. [Mar 2007, p.70]
