  • Summary: With Bode Miller Alpine Skiing you can select a pre-existing skier or create your own. Either way, you take your skier and build them into a top Alpine athlete. Remember, though that behind every great athlete is a great manager and trainer, and this game makes no exception. The player must select a manager that suits their play style and abilities, likewise they must choose a trainer that will address the areas they need the most help in and create a training regime that will build the skills and abilities of their skier. 1. Even if he had brought home the gold, it wouldn't have changed the fact that his skiing game is a shallow cash-in on athletic idolatry.

Refreshing title, great retail price, good graphics, good control, fair role playing (limited, no women atletes), sound is under average (not exciting, lacks customization options), no custom track mode, no multiplayer (none offline or online), promising potential for a second version. Expand

Probably the best alpine skiing game ever made for a console system (though the pickings are admittedly slim). The gameply is fairly realistic, with good detail from real-world courses. The career mode is also a good challenge. While not 100 percent realistic, it bridges the gap between arcade racing and realistic sim quite well. Expand

This title has/had the makings of a classic. Easy to pick up and play, yet difficult to master. Appealing graphics. Very solid control. Skiing down a mountian at 85mph is the object of this title. And it is convincing. Unfortuately, a title which could have scored an 8 or 9 is held back by a few shortcomings. This type of title which should offer a 2 player mode. However, it doesn't. And the crashing animations look like they belong on Sega Genesis. Doesn't matter. If you have any interest in winter skiiing, pick it up. It is a hidden gem. Expand
