  1. Even if he had brought home the gold, it wouldn't have changed the fact that his skiing game is a shallow cash-in on athletic idolatry.

This title has/had the makings of a classic. Easy to pick up and play, yet difficult to master. Appealing graphics. Very solid control. This title has/had the makings of a classic. Easy to pick up and play, yet difficult to master. Appealing graphics. Very solid control. Skiing down a mountian at 85mph is the object of this title. And it is convincing. Unfortuately, a title which could have scored an 8 or 9 is held back by a few shortcomings. This type of title which should offer a 2 player mode. However, it doesn't. And the crashing animations look like they belong on Sega Genesis. Doesn't matter. If you have any interest in winter skiiing, pick it up. It is a hidden gem. Full Review »
