AnonymousMCSep 11, 2008The best part for the game is certainly the battles. The attacks are fairly interesting, if generic. However, the load times are a bit on the extreme side for the quality of the graphics (servicable, but uninspired)
The localization is absolutely terrible. The voice acting is literally the worst I have ever heard. It is SO bad, that the only thing that makes the game playable is the Japanese voice track. The dialogue is poorly written with many mistakes.
The game isn't completely terrible, but there are far superior tactical RPGs out there. The one would would enjoy this game are fans of the games represented, likely Shadow Hearts or Growlanser for US fans.… Full Review »
LowellF.Jun 24, 2008Yes-- the voice acting and the English translation are terrible. Get past that and you have a truly enjoyable and fun SRPG. It doesn't have the engrossing depth of something like Disgaea, but instead you have an accessible game with just enough mechanics to make things interesting. Plus, there's the enjoyment of seeing many, many characters from games you know will never make it to the States (plus old favs like the crew from the Shadow Hearts series). A great diversion from the uber-fare of many of the new SRPGs.… Full Review »
