  • Summary: Karaoke Revolution goes country for the first time as Konami partners with Country Music Television to deliver the first-ever karaoke game dedicated to a specific music genre. Featuring 35 songs -- including classics like The Gambler and Stand By Your Man, and recent hits like Redneck Woman, Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy), and When The Sun Goes Down, CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country is the hottest new addition to the Karaoke Revolution series. The game will let country music fans sing with – and compete against – friends with the two microphone mode to perform duets, and expanded multiplayer and party modes that are sure to enhance any party. Additionally, Karaoke Revolution Country provides support for the EyeToyUSB Camera so players can create a 3D model of their own head and watch as they perform on stage. [Konami] Expand

  1. The excellent production value and a stellar song list will make Karaoke Revolution Country the life of the party for those that wear cowboy boots and say “y’all come back now, ya hear”.
  2. Speaking of modes, Karaoke Revolution Country really outdoes itself in this department as the game features a handful of solo and multiplayer game modes, and mini-games (including a silly voice-controlled beach volleyball diversion). For example, single-player options include a QuickPlay mode (pick a song and venue and get to it), Karaoke (no scoring), and Medley (select the number of sequential songs to sing through).
  3. Country music might not float my boat, but I have to imagine that most country fans will really enjoy Karaoke Revolution Country.
  4. 70
As a whole, Karaoke Revolution Country is another solid Konami karaoke package - one morechance to make an absolute fool out of yourself in your own home, especially if you're a country music fan.
  5. With plenty of duets and no more story mode, this is the most party-friendly version yet. [Apr 2006, p.103]
  6. Take a look up yonder and read over the tracklist to see if it suits you, because it was seriously lacking for both me and Lisa.
  7. My biggest complaints with Karaoke Revolution Country is its lack of songs and its mix of new and old country.
