While the EA game is solid, it just doesn't stack up with 2K6.
  2. College Hoops 2K6 combines solid graphics/controls, with a deep Legacy mode, that should keep your attention far past this NCCA season.

Greg Gumble and Clark Kellogg do a nice job with postgame highlights and their "Selection Sunday" show lends real NCAA flavor to the proceedings. In the booth, Vern Lundquist and Bill Rafferty do a solid job of keeping commentary interesting.
  4. If you are looking for a graphical prowess to be found in your college hoops game, look elsewhere.

I'm not saying this is a sub-par game compared to previous years, it's not bad at all. It just doesn't have the fun factor that previous games have had. The new controls are also a bit confusing, making for a fairly-steep learning curve. The legacy mode is still solid, though, and the game itself is still worth at least a rental if you're a fan of college basketball. Collapse
