  1. It’s one thing to put original characters into an old game type, but it would be another thing entirely to use those same characters and impose new standards on the genre.
  2. The brief, timed missions, simple but attractive visuals and fast-paced gameplay make it one of those perfect travel games.
  3. A simple action game intended for amateur gamers everywhere. Its addictive robot transformation and customization appeal makes DICE rewarding the more it’s played, but it’s also engaging to simply indulge for a few minutes every once in a while.
  4. DICE –the game – features a high-school story with grammar school gameplay. Only those who are willing to put up with the boring-est of the boring button mashing games will be able to see DICE through to its end.
  5. Okay production values, but flat, unrefined gameplay. [Nov 2005, p.84]
  6. The repetitive nature of the gameplay and the easy control system puts this firmly in the classification of an arcade game. I expect something a little deeper for the home system.
  7. DICE is so utterly amateurish it's almost depressing. Stay very, very far away. [Nov 2005, p.96]
