Aside from the repetitive side quests, this shines in it's overall fighting, which is what the game is truly about, it's an assimilation of all that made Budokai 3 and Shin Budokai great. I'd recommend this for any DBZ fan.

Very similar to Budokai 3, so if you liked that then you might want to check this one out. It has a couple new features & character (or removed). If you liked Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 then you will like this.

    >Why only 48/100??? >Why would a so nicely enchanted version of Budokai 3 be rated being a bad game?I don't get it. >Oh well,I think this game is THE BEST up to date including the PS 3 release. And why?For so many reasons...Some quite annoying battle scenes were removed from Budokai 3 and replaced with some great new ones, also, enchanted shaders and a new way of playing through storyline(which I find to be awesome and innovative, not to mention the marvelous cut-scenes. >The battle is much more intense and interesting now. >When it comes to minuses,It doesn't have more than Budokai 3. >It's hard for me to understand how could this game be rated so bad. >THE ONLY big difference between the two games is the difficulty level which is increased from Budokai 3, and that's challenging,a very good thing! >It's not the first time when gems in the game industry are rated as being low value games,to bad some truly bad games are so overrated and the good ones are underrated.. Even with improved graphics and a large character roster, Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World ends the DBZ series on PS2 with a bust instead of a bang.
  2. Fighting fans with next-gen systems already have their DBZ game along with plenty of other fighters out and coming soon enough that looking back for this game should not be something that you're considering.
  3. If the lame "fetch" quests don't bore you, the ridiculously bad mini-games will. Buy one of the earlier releases (for half the price, if not cheaper) and leave this World behind.
