Sep 13, 20107Very steep difficulty curve, but makes you come back for more. A unique premise that is done fairly well. The game tends to lean towards being unfair towards the player at times, but they are pretty few and far between. A unique game in a genre dominated by Ace Combat and similar titles. Worth a purchase.

A compelling game which, once you get over the at times steep learning curve, will keep you very happy, as the action is superb.

70Not for little kids, senior citizens or the easily-discouraged, Dropship demands serious commitment and many hours before revealing its true worth. Once it grabs you though, Dropship makes "Ace Combat 4" and "Lethal Skies" come across as trainee rookie simulators.

90The transition from flying a plane to steering a four-wheeled armored truck to shooting a gun in first-person view is smooth, addicting, and, best of all, keeps the pace of the action consistent enough for you to be involved to the very end. [July 2002, p.74]
