  1. The biggest indictment against From Russia With Love, however, is that it makes the whole experience of being Bond seem about as much fun as an afternoon spent at a stamp-collecting convention, which is something 007 should never stand accused of. It's dull, banal, boring and any other adjectives that can be used to describe a game unworthy of your attention.

It’s harmless mass-market entertainment; the kind that any discerning gamer should already know to leave well alone. [Christmas 2005, p.116]
  3. From Russia With Love had all the makings of a Bond classic. The story was already there, along with a number of cool set pieces. Unfortunately the game forgoes any subtlety in the film in favour of OTT action sequences and barely any stealth at all (it’s there, but like everything else in the game it is rudimentary at best).

I enjoyed the game when played it, but I can't recommend this game. The game is too easy, especially when you upgrade you health and weapons. With "Everything or Nothing" and all the other excellent 3rd person shooters out there, there really shouldn't be any room in your collection for 007 From Russia with love. Full Review »

From Russia With Love is one of my favorite Bond movies and Sean Connery my favorite Bond actor, so how can this game go wrong... right? Eh,From Russia With Love is one of my favorite Bond movies and Sean Connery my favorite Bond actor, so how can this game go wrong... right? Eh, unfortunately they messed up big time.

The graphics are blocky and not pretty to look at, the car handling is really bad, the shooting is awkward and the game just feels overall boring and slow.

The only good thing about this game is that the Bond character really looks like Sean Connery and the team song is really nice, but that is no thanks to the developers of this game of course.

I think they used the real voice of Connery but he sounds like an old man (which he obviously is nowadays) or a young Bond with a bad cold.

The splitscreen multiplayer mode is kinda fun though, i like the deathmatch in this game more than the co-op they used in the otherwise on all levels better game Everything or Nothing. At least in FRWL you get to use the real characters from the movie and the deathmatch in EoN just feels all wrong.

I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone and rate it a poor 4 out of 10.
