  • Summary: Step into the shoes of the legendary hero, Indiana Jones, in an all new epic adventure! Set in the year 1939, Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings follows the rogue archaeologist on an all-new globe-trotting quest. From San Francisco's Chinatown to the lush jungles of Panama, Indy must use his whip, fists and wits to fight through ruthless opposition as he spars with his nemesis, Magnus Völler, in a race for a relic of biblical proportions - the Staff of Moses. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings features completely interactive environments, where players need to call upon their wits and daring to make each spring-loaded environment a weapon in order to dispense of foes in clever and unexpected ways. Also, embark upon thrilling action sequences that remain true to the spirit established in scenes such as Indy's pursuit of the motorcade in Raiders of the Lost Ark, the mine-cart scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and the free-for-all aboard the tank in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. 1. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings is a pity, because although it has very interesting aspects, the final result is not as good as it should have been.
  2. Even so, its relatively short escape to parts unknown, coupled with its limited gameplay, can make this adventure feel like another in a growing string of low moments in Indy's console career.
  3. It all feels a little soulless. [Sept 2009, p.106]

Very successful PS2 port. Staff of Kings is very hard game, but it provides a lot of fun! It's great game! Great battle system, puzzles and interface. This game is great back of Indiana Jones and I recommend that for everyone. Expand

This game is very enjoyable but pretty liner. I don't think this game should be rated as bad as this. Though they could have made it better. They could have made it much more open, and have alot more things for you to do. Expand

Utter crap. Fate of Atlantis and The Infernal Machine were vastly superior to this game. How many years was this in the making again? Two? Three? What a train-wreck. It's horrible player control reminds me of the old Fifth Element game from a decade or so ago. Expand
