The appeal of Intellivision Lives! is greater for those who were there the first time around, but with an '80s-style price tag of only $20, this is an absolute must-buy. [Feb 2004, p.38]
  2. For about the price of a DVD offering a flashback look at classic gaming, you’re getting the story of the company, told by the people who were there, and then you can experience their handiwork.

Controller issues are a problem--imagine driving your car with a PS2 joystick controller--and some games require either two players or the use of the phone keypad onscreen. Biggest wish: Some way to update the games, either completing the revisions (I.e. Basketball III) or making it somewhat more realistic (i.e. five-a-side basketball or more players or allowing rule changes). Overall, however, if you like retro-gaming, this is worth the price no matter the platform. Full Review »
