  1. In online, single player, or cooperative play, perform slick maneuvers like rooftop bike jumps, and earn “Bond Moment” points for unlockable weapons and levels.
  2. The shooting levels definitely benefit from the 3rd person perspective but the targeting controls could use some more work.

Across the board, the slick environments, cut-scenes, and character faces shine, although some of the animations are awkward, particularly when 007 runs. A great title song by Mya, strong voice acting, and booming sound effects complete the package.

It's a great feeling seeing something you shoot explode into tons of little chunks (which looks similar to when buildings explode in "Return of the King" -- another EA blockbuster title), and some of the racing scenes define the word "epic."

The best bond game since "Goldeneye." [June 2004, p.11]
  6. The cohesion between 007's on-foot mission and driving excursions further adds to the cinematic feel, which is Everthing or Nothing's strongest trait. [Apr 2004, p.86]

With just as many levels where you'll pray for it to be over than where you're actually having fun, the game turns out to be a mixture of styles that don't meld together as solidly as they should, as well as having several frustrating joypad-throwing moments and often demanding extraordinary feats of memory from the player. [Mar 2004, p.114]

While the graphics may look a bit aged, Everything or Nothing still lives up to the greatness that a 007 game should be. A completely originalWhile the graphics may look a bit aged, Everything or Nothing still lives up to the greatness that a 007 game should be. A completely original story, a 3rd person perspective, and enough missions and unlockables to keep you busy for a while, this game will entertain any bond fan, no matter their age. Expand

Everything or Nothing is not a perfect game but it just might be the best Bond game on the PS2. It's a lot better than From Russia With Love,Everything or Nothing is not a perfect game but it just might be the best Bond game on the PS2. It's a lot better than From Russia With Love, a game from the same developer.

The graphics are good for a PS2 game and the sound is also fine. A nice touch is that the voice acting has been delivered by the real actors from the Bond movies: Pierce Brosnan, Judi Dench, John Cleese and others... Your character looks a lot like Brosnan too.

The missions are short and fun. The driving in this game is not very good but good enough, since this is not a racing game. The only thing that bothered me sometimes while playing this game is the shooting, or to be more precise: the aiming. It happened more than once that I saw an enemy, pressed the L1 button for aiming and my character started shooting at the other direction. Very frustrating indeed!

The multiplayer modes in EoN are not very entertaining to me. You can't chose any Bond movie character, the levels are boring and the controls are just not responsive enough to enjoy it much. There is some replay value in playing the missions again trying to get a silver or gold price, but i doubt if I'll be doing that anytime soon.

I rate EoN a score of 8 out of 10.
