When trouble appears, the citizens of Bumblyburg call world-famous crime fighter LarryBoy! Aided only by his trusted butler Alfred (played with zest by Archibald Asparagus), plunger-headed LarryBoy is everything that his alter-ego Larry the Cucumber is not: bold... confident... relentlessly driven... brazenly heroic. Well, actually, that’s not entirely true. While he tries to create this impression, inside, LarryBoy is still plain-old Larry. LarryBoy attempts to save the day with clever use of his super-suction ears and the many features of the Larry-Mobile. Call him a kinder, gentler, slightly slower superhero! [Crave] Expand

  1. A game I can recommend to any parent. Not only does the game feature a good lesson in moderation it also is a pretty decent game. Fans of the show will absolutely love it and even kids that don’t watch the show should enjoy the action.
  2. The game is easy, and I really enjoyed the graphics and story line. The only things that really bothered me were that when you repeated any missions, there was Alfred saying the same things over and over and over again. That got annoying.
  3. A by-the-numbers 3D platformer with some questionable design elements, awkward controls, and possibly the only protagonist ever who considers toilet plungers to be a fashion accessory. It’s best suited for inexperienced gamers, or those with high levels of tolerance and patience.

With so many good children's games in store, it looks like LarryBoy, even with his attention to morality, simply doesn't live up to the quality of the rest of the series.

I really thought the game had great puzzles that were fun and challenging. I'm a fan of veggietales so I was happy to hear that the game I really thought the game had great puzzles that were fun and challenging. I'm a fan of veggietales so I was happy to hear that the game has a long list of songs from the DVDs. The game is very funny, I'm glad the game makers were able to have the veggietales people write the game script and dialog. Expand

I'm not much of a video game player, but the "mini games" were actually fun, and I could play them with my son and daughter. The game has the real voices as in the DVDs, and the humor is just as funny. I would recommend this game for any parent. Expand
