Jan 23, 20136A decent modern day adaptation of ghouls & Ghosts. Yet it just does not live to its heritage. However, I did like the humor and all the obvious nods to the original game. Overall: A decent game, but nothing to spectacular.

May 20, 20128This hack and slash was so fun back in the day, and its high amount of difficulty and strategy required make you want to approach this game with caution.

Jan 1, 201210This game is a classic. I can't remember the last time I've had this much fun. It's nice to have game that that executes platforming well. Easily a must buy.

FranF.Jan 9, 20039Excellent game - a great 3D throwback to "Ghosts N' Goblins/Ghouls N' Ghosts" games. Probably the best platformer of 2002 and worthy of a sequel (and if the ending indicates anything, there will be...)

KevinM.Nov 25, 20029Totally fun, good graphics(for the type of game it is) reminiscent of Jak and Daxter (or is it the other way around?) Anyone who didn't like it probably either couldn't compete or didn't have any patience.

[Anonymous]Jun 10, 20024Well not that good. It skinda cartoon. And its kinda dumb. Its worse than SCOOBY-DOO for PS2.

RobertB.Feb 7, 200210I can't stop playing this game!! It's been years since I've enjoyed a platformer and this game is one of the best! Perfect control! Incredible graphics! Excellent music score! I could go on and on...! If you have any love for classic games and feel like they can't be done in 3D - give this game a try. They're going to have to pry it from my cold, cold hands!!!

MattP.Feb 6, 200210Outstanding gameplay combined with not overwelming but nice enough graphics, nice little bundle.

90It has everything a classic game should - good, inoffensive graphics, sturdy controls, and replayability - and it leaves a satisfying cramp in your fingers when you're done.
-
It’s all about action and reaction, which is almost becoming a dying breed as games move toward stealth, tactics, and exploration.

70Featuring similar hack and slash gameplay, which has an uncanny knack of being addictive due to its frustrating nature, Maximo is a title that may appeal more to old-school gamers.
