  • Summary: In the future world of the Cosmic Era, the human race is divided into genetically enhanced Coordinators and unmodified Naturals. In the year C.E. 70 the tensions between Naturals and Coordinators escalate into a global war, and Earth and space become battlefields for the robotic weapons known as mobile suits. Two young warriors, Kira Yamato of the Earth Alliance and Athrun Zala of the ZAFT forces, enter the conflict at the controls of powerful Gundam mobile suits. But there are other stories than theirs, and in this fierce conflict, many other ace pilots are creating legends of their own. Featuring more than 50 playable mobile suits from the TV series. 4 game play modes including Story Mode, Mission Mode and 2 player Versus Mode. Featuring the combat system, unique weapons and attacks from the TV series; pick your favorite mobile suit and battle it out. 3D aerial-and-ground action: use thrusters to hover or fight mid-air or battle on the ground. Select a partner pilot to provide support and weapon upgrades. [Bandai] Expand

  1. If you consider yourself well versed in the lingo and culture of all things Gundam, then the "complex" controls and familiar plot elements will bring a huge smile to your face.
  2. There are lots of nuances here and a truly spectacular CG opener, but the deja vu is loomin' large. [Oct 2005]
  3. A surprisingly mediocre game. It doesn’t try to go far from the typical Gundam formula.
  4. The action here is a complete mess that can't be salvaged, even with copious amounts of fan service and esoteric references to the Gundam universe.
  5. I simply can’t recommend this to anyone but the most obsessive of fans. Other "giant robot" games such as "Zone of the Enders" and "Armored Core" have so much more to offer, with nowhere near this many problems.

For those who aren’t so loyal to this particular brand of gigantic Japanese robot, enjoyment of the game will be seriously hampered by control issues and the payoff--tons of extras and unlockable content--just isn't worth it.
  7. Some pretty broken gameplay and annoying technical issues create a fairly lackluster gaming experience.

It is awsome but aparrently some people can't appreciate how good it is and they suck but anyway i mean just because a game isn't Z.O.E. does not mean you have a reason to bash the game. well thats all for me. ps. this game rocks Expand

Anyone who would say this game sucks probably never gave it much of a chance in the first place. The game mechanics do leave a bit to be desired, but the veriety of combat mechs, and complex game nature will leave anyone up for a challenge with a thirst for more. Expand
