  1. I'll even go out on a limb and say that Deadly Alliance is the best 3D fighter to date! [Jan 2003, p.88]
  2. This game can definitely hang with the best of them, though, which may come as a big surprise to those who thought that Mortal Kombat was dead. MK:DA has enough for both old MK fans and more "modern" fighting game players to keep most everyone entertained for quite a while.
  3. Although the game works as a fresh take on the familiar without adding too much new content to leave old fans feeling lost, it also doesn't do as much as it could to liven things up.

I really don't care about the fatalitys. this game is the best for the new systems. it has good graphics, sound and controls are great.

I think this game is disappointing, although it is actually a very challenging sequel. It lacks fatalities and combos that Mortal Kombat 3 had! The new fatalites are almost rediculous! It's fun for maybe a day but I wouldn't recommend buying it if you're not a skilled gamer because it's a difficult game. Also not allowing you to use half of the characters to start with is plain stupid. Expand

The game play is too slow. there are hardly any special moves and the fatality are basically the same. very poor compared to some fighting games.
