Fans of the original two games may be disappointed but if you can look past the flaws, you will find a fairly accomplished and stable racing game to play. It's just a shame it's so hard to get started in.
The title features sub-par racing, horrendous graphics, lackluster audio, and focuses far too much on the weapons gimmick.
It does have a good variety of modes but the controls are awful and the gameplay is repetitive, repetitive, repetitive, repetitive.
I wouldn't waste money on this, even at bargain prices.
Aside from the fact that the concept isn't nearly as enjoyable as it sounds, the poor collision detection and generally cheap feel ensures that any potential excitement that could come from the game drains away after a few minutes like motor oil from a battered engine.
Shoddy controls, buggy gameplay, and some of the worst character design we've seen this year, resulting in a game that can't even justify its $15 price tag.
