  1. Electronic Gaming Monthly
Plays just like Namco's previous two games, with deceptively difficult turns and a great sense of speed. [Apr 2003, p.116]

If you have the determination to master the many nuances of motorcycle racing, you'll find that MotoGP3 delivers an exceptionally exhilarating ride. It's a game for enthusiasts, but a great game nonetheless.
  3. Easily the best motorcycle racing game currently available for the PS2 and is probably one of the top 5 games in the entire racing genre at this time. The visuals are nearly flawless and the presentation is network quality.
  4. While not substantially different from its predecessors, this third installment adequately sweats the details and dishes up a heaping serving of improvements in the way of four-player multiplayer support, a new Challenge and Legends mode, and 15 new tracks to keep you coming back for more.
  5. Without the revamped control, some of you might even forget which version of GP you're playing. MotoGP 3 is all about refinement, which is swell, but how about something a little spicier next time?

For serious motorcycle-simulation fans only. If you’re not interested in the minutiae of the sport, go dust off "Road Rash" and read no further.
  7. Racing fans looking for a new and unique challenge that can be as rewarding as it is deep should give MotoGP3 a try, and players looking for the definitive motorcycling experience for the PlayStation 2 shouldn't bother looking any further.
  8. 87
    Challenging, immersive, and highly playable.
  9. The improvements do not make for an altogether new game but what is offered here definitely adds to the enjoyment of a truly spectacular motorcycle racing series.
  10. The sequel isn’t a major overhaul, but the added tracks and gameplay further enhances an already solid racing series.
  11. If you're looking for a definitive motorcycle racing sim, look no further.
  12. GMR Magazine
The third incarnation of the gorgeous two-wheeled racer MotoGP 3 marries high-octane speed with improved control, at long last implementing front and rear brakes. [May 2003, p.66]
  13. 85
It's fast, beautiful, and chock full of modes and options. Get it.
  14. Official U.S. Playstation Magazine
The biggest improvement (for me anyway) is that Namco absolutely nailed it with the controls this time. [Apr 2003, p.90]
  15. Features the most dramatic and gameplay-enhancing improvements yet seen in this series.

I really enjoy playing this game. The graphics, gameplay, missions and price of $24.00 bucks I got it for made it well worth it. I'm a I really enjoy playing this game. The graphics, gameplay, missions and price of $24.00 bucks I got it for made it well worth it. I'm a big fan of Moto gp and felt the Motorcycle and rider depictions were done well. Although the game would have been a lot better if there were some rider personality conflicts, rider trash talking, explosive crashes and a secret unlockable "full lengh" Moto Gp movie. Yes, this game has some flaws, but what game doesn't? Full Review »
