Take the great career mode, the interesting challenges, and solid online play, and you've got one excellent bike racer on your hands, even despite a few speed bumps here and there. [Sept 2006, p.76]
Plays basically just like the previous games. The simulation mode is the heart of the game, although it is very difficult to master. Best of the series so far. [July 05]

Those afternoons playing with my uncle are unforgettable. It had amazing graphics for its time. One of the best driving games for ps2.

I first bough this in 2002 and I still play it today! I think from other views racing fans have totally misunderstood Moto GP 4's genius. The graphics and slightly poor and there's few options other than the different classes, the season is pretty tedious and after all this it actually quite easy. What this game is genius at is having the best track representations and the most realist lap time timing of any racing game ever...ever!. if you want to spend hours chipping away at the perfect lap a tenth at a time, then this game will be awesome!

MotoGP 4 is a late entry into a very crowded field of racing games for the PlayStation 2. The core gameplay is still as fun and flexible as ever, and the addition of online play is a welcome, if very tardy, one. Despite being slightly out-of-date, MotoGP 4 is still a good way to get your racing fix.
It's not the strongest competitor in the field, but MotoGP 4 is a solid contender in the genre.
MotoGP4 suits all fans of road racing and those who are bored of car racing games. Racing on two-wheeled bikes requires a lot of concentration and you’ll spend a lot of time trying to get through the challenges offered. The presentation is, again, strangely lacking. [July 2005, p.65]
MotoGP4's licensed bikes and riders, accurately rendered tracks, and extensive single and multiplayer gameplay options are all good selling points but the unpolished graphics, bland audio, and out-of-date licensing are serious misfires.
If you’re the sort of gamer who’s obsessed with statistical accuracy in your sports sims and can live with the uncanny feeling of déjà vu, Moto GP 4 proves to be a run of the mill arcade racer that will give you the most up-to-date bike game on the market, however bland it is.

This is the third moto gp game released on the ps2 system. The games have become more and more evolved as they have come out and it seems the franchise is trying to give you a reason to keep buying the latest version. Upon starting the disc there is An obvious push in the intro to make sure you are aware of what's new. I would say this is probably the best version of moto gp on the ps2 as it's moving more and more away from arcade to sim, yet still retains a good enough arcade feel. In saying that though the gameplay is still pretty much the same. No damage and it seems scripted where you can slide out. It seems all play engines are based on these scripted areas and not so much the true physics of the vehicles. At some points in tight corners I did notice some weird slowdown that did not exist in the previous versions but that probably goes to show that what you get on this disc is about the maximum the generation can handle. It's a fun decent game with a lot of options. You now collect points for upgrades and have a chance to play around a bit with other customizations.

Con este juego puede disfrutar del mundial de Moto gp, 125 cc y 250 cc, además de numerosos desafios, y una tienda donde podía comprar pilotos, fotos, vídeos o circuitos. La gran pega que le pondría yo al juego, es que es muy previsible, y todos los pilotos acababan siempre en la misma posición aunque se cayesen . Aceptable juego en aquel 2006
