  1. The game does stumble in a couple of areas, but the program pulls together a wide range of elements for a challenging and enjoyable day of gridiron action.
  2. Some graphical flaws, musical issues, and lightly overbalanced play cast a shadow on the game. However, if you can overlook these issues, you’ll find a good title to sustain you throughout this season.
  3. This game is best for those who want to play a blowout game and not think about defense… ever. This is a good-looking game, and is fun to play, but purists should look elsewhere.
  4. A bit too much like its NFL brother, this game does little to simulate the college experience.
  5. Too bad the flawed AI of the CPU opposition, choppy graphics and lack of customization keep it far below the excellence of EA's and Sega's PS2 college games.

Just pick up "NCAA 2003" and forget this one even exists. [Oct 2002, p.149]

Play either of the other PS2 NCAA games and look smarter for it. [Oct 2002, p.184]

I also agree that EA sports is dominating over the field of football games.
