    ProStreet has a tiring, monotonous start that could turn off even the most loyal Need for Speed fanatic. But if have the need to stick around, the race events do speed up to a better, more enjoyable pace. Eventually.

    Not having any online play also hinders this title, but it most likely wouldn't have helped much considering all of its other issues. If you are looking for a great and enjoyable racing experience, you should definitely look elsewhere.

    It could have still been a decent game had the cars driven well, but unfortunately their performance is shoddy. Car lovers will find something to like here due to the customization options, but Need for Speed has certainly seen better days.

    ProStreet isn't a bad game, it simply doesn't hold a candle to its competition, and Need for Speed fans will be left wondering where all the fun has gone from the illegal, turned legal, street racing series.

    It was always going to be a struggle, but EA didn't help itself with poor controls, a visually horrendous game and the need for a more varied and challenging racing game.

    The one thing that stands out about Need for Speed ProStreet is that it just doesn't feel like Need for Speed. By taking it out of the city and stealing elements from simulation racers, it loses its distinctive identity that fans have loved over the years.

    I have got most of the nfs series which got better and better until this one appeared. it is utterly awful and a waste of money, i will have doubt's about buying the next installment if there is one.… Full Review »

    The graphics on the ps2 version are very rough, complete damage such as the one in ps3 has been removed from the ps2 version. Gameplay is so difficult that even a slight wrong movement will cause you to total your car, a feature which reminds me of Nfs Underground.… Full Review »
