The player models are much more realistic, players show emotion, and pretty much everything has been given a facelift. The animation, framerate, textures - it’s all very impressive.
  2. The best [PS2 football game] of the bunch. With its responsive control, completely realistic graphics, and the best AI around, NFL 2K2 is the game football fans should own.
  3. The down side is that the commentary has seemed to change from endless conversation and good jokes to dry, corny play by play.
  4. Falling short to a tighter, more polished "Madden." [Jan 2002, p.132]

After being a player of the 2K series the last 2 years on DC, I tried Madden and was appaled at how......slow it felt. Chalk it up to personal perference. Expand
